Peace Cup: Four clubs Seal Quarter Final Place

Four clubs have reached the quarter final stage of the third edition of the Peace Cup.

Fadob FC, Hero FA, Selecta FA and Ottasolo FC booked their place in the last eight of the tournament after scaling past the group stage.

Selecta FA dismantled Sizoko FC 9-2 on aggregate. Selecta had a 8-1 lead in the first leg but Sizoko improved on their performance in the second leg to force a 1-1 draw which wasn’t enough to see them through in the competition as they were knocked out in the group stage.

Fadob defeated Idan FC 4-3 on aggregate to reach the quarter final. The first leg ended in a 2-2 draw but Fadob stood tall to grind out a 2-1 win the second leg to step into the last eight of the tournament.

Future Hero knocked off Lad One 2-0 on aggregate. A lone goal victory in each leg put Future Hero through to the quarter final of the Peace Cup.

Ottasolo FC race past FC Athletico on penalties to win the tie. FC Athletico won the first leg 3-2 but the second leg took a dramatic turn as Ottasolo FC edged FC Athletico 3-2 to draw the game to penalty shootout. Ottasolo FC went on to win the resulting shootout 5-4.
