Odunmbaku donates N1m to rescue kidney patient

Mrs. Adebamijoko Hassan has appreciated the kind gesture of Ojudu Local Council Development Area LCDA chairman, Hon. David Odunmbaku for supporting her health condition with the sum of N1 million.
The beneficiary was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease in 2021, medical report showed that one of her kidneys was ectopic while the other one was bad which she was not aware of until the test was carried out late 2021.
Ever since then, she has been on drugs to sustain the ailment.
Fortunately, Hassan has found a kidney donor but needs N15 million to carry out surgery for transplanting.
As part of his support, the council chairman donated N1 million as he implored the public to assist in donating towards the humanitarian effort of saving Mrs. Hassan Adebamijoko Rashidat.
While receiving the chairman’s donation, the beneficiary’s sister appreciated the chairman for the kind gesture, saying it would a food example of a leader.
She therefore, appealed to other philanthropists within and outside the council area for their support for her sister to live again.
“We really appreciate our council chairman for his donation towards the health challenge of my sister. We pray Almighty God be with him to be success in his dealings. We are hereby appealing to every other person to come to our aids, we need N15 million for the surgery. May the good God support you as well.”
