No fewer than 620 small business owners in Ikeja Federal Constituency got grants from the Member of the Federal House of Representatives representing the Constituency, Hon. James Faleke to support their businesses.

He gave the grant as empowerment fund to those who participated in the vocational trainings organised for the people especially the youths in the constituency.

According to the lawmaker, the empowerment was targeted at Small Scale and Medium Enterprises and some unemployed youths, market women and widows who were given cash to startup business after training.

Tagged ‘Mr. Empowerment’ due to his various empowerment programmes since elected as a member of the House of Representatives, Faleke was said to be one of the best leaders the constituency has ever produced, as the beneficiaries lauded him for the recent empowerment gesture.

Commenting on the programs, Faleke said “a good work delivered is definitely a call for higher and more work.”

He promised continuation of empowerment programmes to raise the standard of living of his constituents.

He, therefore, requested for their prayers for God to continue endowing him with more grace to deliver more good works, and to be protected from all evils and to grant his heart desires.
