Etiosa Local Government was buzzing with excitement as the residents welcomed the members of the Lagos State House of Assembly Committee on Health Services on Wednesday.
The guests were welcomed by the SLG, Hon. Idowu Badru, who was standing in for the chairman, accompanied by members of the legislative council, executive members, head of Human Resources, Mr. Rafiu Alabi and Dr. Adenike Oguntuwase, Medical Officer of Health.
The committee, which was led by its chairman, Hon. Noheem Adams, was on visitation to inspect the health facilities in Eti-Osa.
Badru expressed his gratitude to the Committee for their visit and the support they have shown to the people of Eti-Osa in the past.
He also reaffirmed the administration’s unwavering commitment to improving the quality and standard of service delivery in all primary health care facilities in Etiosa.
Dr. Oguntuwase, the Medical Officer of Health, was also appreciative of the visit and fervently prayed for the continued support of God and the Lagos State government.
She expressed hope that with this visit the public health centers in Eti-Osa would be ushered into a new era of excellence.
The residents saw the visit as sign positive changes in the local health care facilities as they were eagerly looking forward to the future with renewed optimism and confidence in their local government’s commitment to their health and well-being.
