The third edition of the Extra Quality Ramadan Cup has been scheduled to kickoff on the 10th of April 2023 at Eko Boys high school, Mushin.
The tournament which is tagged Bringing out Sport in the holy month of Ramadan will see clubs squaring up against each other to determine the eventual champions of the championship.
The teams that will be on parade at the tournament are defending champions Jumez International, MS Success, Eko boys All Star, Saturday All Star, Ciroma FC, Original FC, Sangalo FC and FC Robo Warriors.
Speaking at the draws of the tournament, the organizer, Musbau Oseni said the purpose of the tournament is to give back to the community through the sponsor, Alhaji Yusuf Ayinla and no fee was charged from the participating teams because it’s a free tournament.
Oseni added that the participating clubs should also be at the match venue at least one hour before kickoff as indiscipline from any team will not be condoned.
“This tournament is a free one because the sponsor of the tournament, Alhaji Yusuf Ayinla (Anobi Mushin) is using it to give back to the community through sport, so we will not be charging any fee for the tournament.
“All teams are urged to be at the match venue at least one hour before kickoff as indiscipline from any team will not be condoned in the tournament.
“Light refreshments will be given to the teams immediately after their matches to use in breaking their fast as we want the tournament to be a memorable one to celebrate the month of Ramadan.”
