Rafiat Sule has been impressive no doubt this season as she scored in Vicenza Calcio Femminile 2-0 away win over Centro Storico Lebowski.
Nigeria international has now scored in two consecutive matches against Orvieto and Lebowski.
Super Falcons forward, Sule gave Vicenza the lead in the game with a subtle finish that went through the legs of the goalkeeper into the back of the net.
Ponte doubles Vicenza lead in the 50th minute as she dribbles past her marker before sending a left footed strike into the back of the net.
Basso had a great chance to add to Vicenza tally in the 85th minute but her header went inches off the goal post.
The win makes it a two consecutive one for Vicenza Calcio Femminile in the league.
Sule has now scored 12 goals in the League this season as she’s in contention for the highest goal scorer gong in Italy.
Reacting to her goal scoring prowess, Sule said she’s happy with the win and glad with the goal.
“I’m glad with the win and the goal, the job of a striker is to score goals and I’m glad I was able to score in the win against Lebowski.”
