The House of Representatives candidate in Ifako-Ijaiye constituency II under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Benjamin Olabinjo (BAO) has taken his political campaign tour to the Christian community in Ojokoro, seeking the blessing of the religious body.
The Christians Association of Nigeria (CAN) led by Pastor C G Coker affirmed that the leadership of Christian community and the party share a long existing relationship.
The association offered prayers for Olabinjo’s victory and to all the party’s candidates.
In response, Olabinjo appreciated the body for the love and support and its special coordination of yearly prayers at his residence.
He solicited votes for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Babajide Sanwo-Olu, himself and Hon. Emmanuel Olotu who was also in attendance.
He encouraged the leadership of CAN not to entertain fear on the issue of Muslim-Muslim ticket that party has put forward.
He gave 100 percent assurance that the Christians’ interest will surely be protected.
With the same assurance, Ojokoro LCDA chairman, Hon. Hammed Tijani (HID) called for massive votes for all candidates of the party.
Olabinjo also sought prayers from the leaders and members of the Pentecostal Church Ifako-Ijaiye province.
He further promised to be available to the church members of the constituency in time of need.
The province PFN President, Rev. Olatunde Shoyemi expressed joy to receive the visitors for recognising the denomination.
