We’ll deliver 30,000 votes for APC in Isolo – AGT

A socio-political organisation, Asiwaju Grasroot Talk, has pledged to deliver 30,000 votes for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Isolo LCDA.

The pledge was made by the Political Coordinator of the Group, Mr. Kayode Talabi who spoke to ECHONEWS at the sideline of a political evangelical seminar held for residents and electorate in Isolo recently.

Talabi explained that the group’s main target is to ensure that Lagos delivers bulk votes for Tinubu’s anticipated success at the poll as well as other APC candidates in the State.

He added that AGT’s effort is to complement other machineries the party has set in place to achieve its five million vote target for Tinubu out of the possible seven million.

Asked how to achieve the figure, Talabi said the group has no fewer than 1000 canvassers in Isolo LCDA and each canvasser is expected to mobilise at least 30 voters to each of the 339 polling units in Isolo LCDA.

He said: “AGT’s main target is to increase the election result in Lagos State. To awaken active voters in Lagos State. Our main target is to boost the number of votes in Lagos State so that we can be bold enough to compete with others in other regions.

“From the calculation now, AGT has no fewer than 1000 canvassers in Isolo LCDA and each voters is expected to bring 30 voters to their polling unit and if you look at that figure it gives you 30,000 votes. So AGT is promising Lagos State 30,000 votes.”
