The legislative arm of Orile-Agege LCDA has assured the general public that it will continue to strive for the upgrade of the council.
They made the pledge following the submission of the 2023 budget of continuity by the executive body to the legislature.
The council leader, Hon. Wale Fayemi, noted that as a member of the Legislative Arm, he assures all residents that all councillors would ensure approving community-oriented projects that have been proposed as they are more concerned about the necessary developmental drive they need to put in place for more success of the council.
He said proposed infrastructural facilities that need readjustment- employment opportunities and entrepreneurial activities among others would be thoroughly examined before approval.
He noted that all councillors are for the interest of the community as they have related more with people at the grassroots level which makes them familiar with the needs of the people.
