Council to raise funds for education development

Agege Local Government has declared its intention to raise funds for the development of educational activities in the council.

The fundraising section would be carried out between stakeholders within and outside the council with a targeted sum of N500m.

The chairman of Agege Local Government, Hon. Ganiyu Egunjobi said the donation would be made at the still-to-come 7-day Agege day celebration which will kick off on 16, December 2022.

He noted that the celebration was to build cohesion, networking and familiarization among Agege youths and all that would be beneficial to them after the occasion.

He said he hoped that the general public would value the gathering and make the best out of it for their development.
