The entire Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government staff led by the chairman, Prince Usman Hamzat have appreciated the 35 years of service of Head of Department (HOD) Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation (WAPA), Alhaji Mosidat Abiola as she retired from civil service.
Hamzat described the retiree as an excellent civil servant, a kind- hearted person and a diligent worker who gave her best to the service.
The Vice Chairman, Mrs. Oluwatoyin Akerele praised her commitment and professionalism displayed during her service.
The retiree joined the Lagos State civil service on 15th October 1987 as a clerical assistant at Epe Local Government and was later transferred to Alimosho Local Government in 2002.
She further worked in Igando/Ikotun Local Council Development Area (LCDA) as a training officer and at Iba LCDA as an administrative officer.
She was appointed HOD, WAPA at Lagos Mainland Local Government in 2016 before she was transferred to Ifako-Ijaiye LG in 2021 .
In October 2022, she retired from Lagos State civil service after 35 years of meritorious service as an assistant chief administrative officer on grade level 13.
Delegates from Epe LG, Igando/Ikotun LCDA, Iba LCDA and Lagos Mainland LG attended her retirement ceremony held at Ifako-Ijaiye multipurpose hall.
