Stakeholders of Agbooyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) have robbed minds together to ensure obtainable 2023 fiscal budget.
The budget tagged ‘Infrastructural Growth and Human Development’ was well deliberated on by the traditional rulers, community leaders, transport unions, market men/women, youths and women organization groups, artisans and religion leaders.
All gave purposeful direction towards the budget as they contributed meaningful proposals.
The All progressives Congress (APC) state treasurer, Hon. Abiodun Akhigbe, urged the present administration to look into the issue of unused lands in Ajelogo Akanimodo Housing scheme, stating that the serenity will aid beautiful aesthetic for the ongoing housing projects springing up in the area.
Responding, Agbooyi-Ketu (LCDA) chairman, Hon. Dele Oshinowo said that his administration will focus on massive infrastructural development come next year.
He noted that all the projects embarked upon by his administration so far, especially on housing scheme were to create alternative increase in Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) for the LCDA.
He, however, disclosed that his administration will commence construction works on Fadiya, Adisa Akintoye, Odogbolu and Ogunseide streets of the community.
He further stated that the LCDA partnered with Lagos State Government to construct two roads within Owode-Ajegunle axis.
The Lawmaker representing Kosofe Constituency II at state Assembly level, Hon. Femi Saheed commended Oshinowo for transforming the LCDA into a place of pride through massive development projects.
The council head of administration, Mrs. Sonate Adebanji urged residents to pay their levies and rates to ensure adequate resources to fund 2023 budget.
