It was a tale of hardwork, perseverance for SGH Sports Academy and their female counterpart, the SGH Sports Academy Amazons as they defeated all teams in the Wasinmi Summer Camp to emerge champions in both the boys and girls category.
Though it was an herculean task to achieve, they showed resilience and consistency coupled with the support from their management, they were able to achieve the unbelievable stats by setting a new record which no club have done in Wasinmi Summer Camp.
SGH Sports Academy defeated Oluwole FC 2-0 to emerge champions in the boys category.
Olamilekan Adegboyega gave the Godly Boys a relief in the 40th minute after scoring to put SGH Sports Academy ahead in the game.
Mojeed Ganiu doubled the Godly Boys lead in the second half to wrap up an important victory for the Godly Boys as they emerged champions of the Wasinmi Summer Camp.
SGH Sports Academy Amazons also lived up to their expectations in the final of the girls category as they triumphed by defeating Society Teen Girls 2-0.
