Be calm, dedicated and focused, Obe tells supporters, organises Ramadan lecture for late father

The Executive Chairman of Ejigbo LCDA, Hon. Monsurudeen Bello OBE, has implored his supporters to be calm, dedicated and focused ahead of the local government election scheduled to hold on July 24, this year.

Obe, who is seeking re-election under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), appealed to his supporters to jettison all negative rumours, saying he is ready for the party’s primaries.

He was speaking during the 2021 Ramadan lecture and special Du’ahe organised for his late father, Alh Nurudeen Adio Bello (OBELAWO).

The Guest Lecturer, Khalifa Ali AbdulRaheem (Ajagbemokiriyo), spoke on the benefits of giving thanks to Almighty Allah.

Delivering lecture on the topic “Giving Thanks (IDUPE)”, the cleric said there are more gains and rewards for those who constantly give thanks to Allah on whatever cones their ways.

He elaborate on its signs to be seen by those who always give thanks.

The Mudir of Morcaz Uloom of Nigeria, Shehu Muizudeen Salman Alawiye, who led the prayer session asked God for forgiveness for the late father and increased blessing in his abode.

He also prayed for successful re-election of the council chairman.

He prayed that the that the party’s primaries slated May 29, 2021would favour Obe to rule Ejigbo for another term.

Meanwhile, Obe admonished the Islamic faithfuls and others residents to take the lessons of Ramadan very seriously.
