In celebration of 2020 Chidren’s Day, the Leader of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Lanre Akinbowale (Larry) distributed gift items to 150 children.

While distributing the packs which comprised biscuits, popcorn, cornflakes, tasty time, bottled drink and noodles to the children, Akinbowale said he felt the need to make the children happy at the time they could gather to celebrate.

According to him, it was the best way to make the children happy, noting that Children’s Day is celebrated globally and that he has the obligation to do something for the children in his ward to make them feel the excitement of the celebration.

Also, in fulfilling his promise, Akinbowale bought new clothes, shoes, face mask and other gift items for Odebunmi Jeremiah, the pupil of Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Primary School to whom he gave scholarship last year October.

He said he presented the items to Jeremiah in order to make his Children’s Day a colorful one.

He therefore urged the boy to always put on his nose mask, wash his hands regularly with soap under a running tap water and be of good and obedient character to his parents.
