Araromi/Olorunsogo Alafia Community Development Association (CDA) has embarked on house to house sensitisation of its residents on preventive measures of COVID-19.
The CDA executive members hit the streets to create awareness tagged “What You Need to Know about Coronavirus” among the residents of the community, asking them to abide strictly by the preventive measures given by the ministry of health on how to contain the virus from spreading.
The residents were equally implored to strictly comply with the stay-at-home order and avoid social contacts and gathering of more than 20 people.
The CDA also distributed hand sanitisers to the people in the community to keep them safe.
The CDA Secretary, Alhaji Mufutau Abdullai, said the orientation was organised as a directive from the CDC to talk to the community on the pandemic virus ravaging the world.
He said the street sensitization was to make known to the community that coronavirus is real and that people should be cautious and abide by the rules.
