Finally, Oshodi-Isolo LG inaugurates new CDC

Following the crisis that marred the election of the Community Development Committee in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government caused by hiccups in zoning, the local government has finally constituted and inaugurated its new CDC.

After all the agitations, Alhaji Adisa Olawoyin was made the CDC Chairman, Mr. Ade Macathy emerged the First Vice Chairman while Mr. Abdullah Melemuku became the Second Vice chairman.

Other executive members include the Secretary – Hon. Saheed Animashaun, Treasurer – Elder Fatoki, Financial Secretary – Danola, Auditor – Akinyelure, PRO – Kazeem Fawole, First Welfare Officer – Sule Ajala, Second Welfare Officer – Olu Adegbehinade, Social Secretary – Alhaja Ajibulu and other ten Ex- officials who took the oath of allegiance to serve the community.

While inaugurating the committee, the executive chairman of Oshodi-lsolo Local Government, Hon. Bolaji Muse Ariyoh, stated that the past administration was peaceful, charging the current to follow suit.

He implored the new executive members of the committee to work collectively to have good results in the community.
The outgoing CDC Chairman, Alhaji Rasheed Alamutu who handed over to the new chairman asked the community members to give the new executives the support they need to do the work.

He also advised the new chairman to keep good working relationship with the local government chairman and give constant reports on the happenings in the community just as he (Alamutu) did for the past 12 years.

Responding, Olawoyin commended the efforts of his predecessor as he pledged to do well.

He therefore sought the cooperation of the community members to do the work for the development of the community.
Certificates of service were presented to the outgoing CDC executive members.
