The residents of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Area have expressed joy as the LGA Chairman, Hon. Bolaji Muse Ariyoh, commenced rehabilitation of roads across the council area.
The chairman had earlier promised the residents that his government would fix some of the bad roads in the community as soon as the rain subsides, appealing to them to be patient.
In fulfilling the promise as well as meeting the yearning and agitation of the people, infrastructural renewal has begun on Ajisegiri road with correction of a section of collapse drainages and excavation of bad portion of the road for a new one.

This, according to the council boss, is part of the effort to make the local government area a hub of good inner roads network.
The contractor handling the project has fully moved to the road while motorists and other road users are advised to take an alternative route for hitch-free rehabilitation.
Apart from this, work has also begun on Abolaji Street with the laying of crush stone to make the road more motorable for motorists, residents of Oshodi and others plying the road.
Ariyoh said Ajisegiri, Sehinde Calisto , Wahabi Larinde and many other streets are lined up for the similar rehabilitation as was done on Ogunlana and Abolaji.
Some of the residents who spoke to ECHONEWS hailed the more and called for more road repairs across the community.
