PSP operators donate books, generator to public library

As part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the two private waste management operators in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Area (LGA), Excellency Link and TUNAP, have donated reading aid materials to the public library in the council.

While Excellency Link donated books on different subjects in JSS3 to SSS3, TUNAP gave a 3.5KVA power generating engine as their contribution towards the ongoing renovation of the library.

Receiving the donations on behalf of the local government authority, the Supervisor for Education, Hon. Ganiu Mejindade, thanked the donors for their support towards, saying the gesture was a move towards reviving and inculcating reading culture into the students.

He therefore urged other private organisations and wealthy individual member of the community urged to support the local government in giving the library a facelift.
