Community applauds Echonews for good job

The community of Fabukade, Shogunle Oshodi has commended Echonews Newspaper for representing the communities in Oshodi-Isolo well and presenting their needs to the government, stating that the newspaper’s effort has been yielding positive results especially in the area of residents’ agitation for road construction.

The Chairman of Fabukade Community Development Association (CDA), Chief Tunde Tobun stated that his community enjoyed the rich information dissemination of Echonews that covers Oshodi, Isolo and Ejigbo and would like the newspaper to keep keeping the community abreast of happenings.

He also mentioned that the community newspaper has given people the access to make contributions towards the development of their environment and also to be heard by the government.

“Readers call for constant supply of the newspaper as they appreciate the efforts put together to make sure that information gets to their door steps on weekly basis.”

He used the medium to call the attention of the local government to Fabukade Street, pleaded for the street to be graded to stop the flood challenge facing the residents.
