Youth Take Center Stage as Onigbongbo LCDA Plans Big for 2025 International Youth Day

The future looks brighter for young people in Onigbongbo LCDA as the newly inaugurated Chairman, Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo, has openly declared full support and inclusion of youths in his administration.
During a strategic meeting with party and community youth leaders, Hon. Adebanjo emphasized that youth empowerment is not just a slogan but a key pillar of his leadership. His message was clear: young people will not be left behind.
In a move that excited many, the Chairman revealed that the 2025 International Youth Day will be marked with impactful activities across the LCDA. With the theme “Say No To Drugs,” the event will feature a football competition among wards and a powerful seminar to educate youths on the dangers of drug abuse.
Hon. Adebanjo didn’t stop there. He also challenged youth leaders on the absence of women in their ranks, calling for greater gender inclusivity and urging them to reflect the diversity of the community they represent.
The response from the youth was overwhelmingly positive. Many expressed their appreciation for the Chairman’s bold stance and described the meeting as a turning point for youth development in the area.
