Jogging, according to experts, is the best form of exercise that works round the body. It also helps in weight loss as an hour of jogging burns around 300 calories and it is more effective than mere walking.

In Oshodi Isolo Local Government Area, there are common and permanent routes where people gather to jog on daily basis in a bid to lose weight and burn fats in the body.

Jogging on this route starts at 6:30am and ends at 7:30am before traffic starts to build up on the route.

Jakande Estate- Oke-Afa route: The Jakande Estate-Oke-Afa Ejigbo route is very popular among the residents of Jakande Estate and Bucknor. Jogging on this route is mostly done during the weekend because of how busy it is during weekdays due to congestion of traffic on the route. Jogging starts from the entrance of Jakande Estate (Jakande Gate) down to the bridge linking Bucknor to Isheri and sometimes the joggers go as far as Ijegun to get satisfaction.
