Winner at the Chairmanship election poll in Ejigbo LCDA in Lagos, Taoheed Adebayo, has promised swift democratic governance to residents in the community following his commanding victory at the election.

Adebayo, who contested under the flagship of the All Progressives Congress, APC, polling a landslide 34,371 out of the 35,452 available in six wards of the community stated that he has no time to waste to begin actualization of his seven point agenda which he promised the residents of the area.

The incoming chairman whose closest opponent of the Labour party, LP, amased 472 votes assured credibility and orderliness in his administration, promising positive leadership and accessibility to the people of the community.

“This is a victory for every community in Ejigbo LCDA,” Taoheed said on Sunday.

” I’m humbled by the trust and proud of the peaceful conduct of our people. I commend LASIEC, security agencies, party stakeholders, and above all, the voters who came out with purpose.

“Now, we move from promises to performance. The mandate is clear, and delivery begins immediately,” he stated.

Taoheed pulled 8,514 votes in Ailegun Ward, 7,148 in Ifoshi, 6,415 in Fadu and 5,765 in Oke Afa.
