We have the desire to win Bolowantan Gold Cup

Shola FC have qualified for the next round of the Bolowantan Gold Cup which is played at Ikorodu.

The club didn’t really have it all rosy as they won 2 games draw one an lost one to accumulate 7 points and advanced to the next round of Bolowantan Gold Cup.

Speaking with ECHONEWS newspaper, coach of Shola FC, Abdulfatai Abdulawahab described the qualification to the next round of Bolowantan Gold Cup as fantastic, an eye opener for the boys and believes the team can win the competition if they work harder, cultivate the habit of winning and have the desire to win.

“It was fantastic and happy for the qualification to the next round of bolowotan cup and it’s an eye opener for the boys that we still need to work hard. Because the last round game was not easy.

“It’s a game of football anything can happen but with the performance of this boys I believe we can go far if they work harder and cultivate habit of never say die and desire to win.

“But to be sincere we still need to work on lot of areas in other to be able to compete now and upcoming EKO League. We still need to beef up the team.”
