“Having spent about 15 years in the private sector and another 20 years in the public service, I believe I’m the most competent to continue with the development of Lagos State,” he said.

The governors challenged other contestants to provide their resume and compare with his so that the electorate could see and pick the best candidate for the job.

He stated that his records in the last four years are in the public domain to judge his competence and achievements.

“We were here during COVID-19 pandemic when we managed and contained the virus from taking over the state. We stood and ensured that the ENDSARs protest did not escalate beyond control,” the governor said.
