Hopes of a rebound in the local economy is rising on the crest of new vacancies in hotels and companies producing water.
Considered a positive profit of the ease of the lockdown by the government, the shop floor job are mainly for drivers, marketers and hotel attendants and receptionists.
ECHONEWS followed up the vacancies for the the position of marketers and drivers posted by some companies.
Mr. Kazeem Lawal, the employment officer of Aquamaredo Water located at Abiodun Alimi Street, Ejigbo confirmed the vacancies as he told our correspondent that the company is currently recruiting marketers and drivers for the distribution of its products.
“The business organisation is in need of intelligent and experienced marketers with the knowledge of existing and prospective customers.This position is paramount in the running of the business organisation mainly to market our products at a fast selling rate,” said.
The Best Ice Table Water at Akinsanya Street, Ejigbo also advertised vacant positions for marketers, drivers, production manager and factory workers.
Newly built resort centre, Aceland Royal Garden is also recruiting workers as part of plans to open.

ECHONEWS gathered that the newly built relaxation centre has been providing services to few customers coming to relax.
Ikenna, the Business Supervisor who spoke to ECHONEWS in the absence of the Managing Director told our correspondent that though some parts of the building were yet to be completed, they have started attending to customers gradually.
He informed that the organisation would soon start recruiting workers, stating that prospective hotel job seekers could bring their curriculum vitae (CV) for consideration.
“Though some positions are already occupied, there are still vacancies for new applicants as the hotel still needs workers in some departments of the business organisation,” he informed.
