Wahab Reveals Arrest Of Environmental Offenders

Lagos State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab has disclosed the arrest of offenders of environmental pollution.

Wahab said ten individuals were arrested in total while two were apprehended following their open defecation at Agege Motor Road beside the railway line and eight people were arrested for open urination at Allen, Opebi and also Governor’s Road Alausa.

He stated the environmental offenders will be charged to court in accordance to the Lagos State laws.

“Two individuals were arrested for open defecation at Agege Motor Road by the railway line and 8 arrested for open urination at Allen, Opebi and Governor’s Road in Alausa.

“They will all be charged to court in accordance with the relevant laws of Lagos State.”
