Wafa League highest goal scorer, Aishat Bolarinwa and 34 other players have been called up to the Nigeria U17 national team camp in Abuja in preparation for the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup scheduled to take place in Dominican Republic.
The Ghetto Tigers Ladies goal poacher was a dominant force in the 2023/2024 Wafa League season where she emerged as the highest goal scorer with eight goals and four assists in 11 matches.
Aishat possesses a great skill with undoubtedly goal scoring efficiency and fascinating footwork attributed to modern day attacking players.
Despite at a young age, she brims with confidence on the ball and can effectively play either as a top striker or through the flanks.
The eight FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup will hold in Dominican Republic from October 16 to November third.
