The popular Nigerian Nollywood actor, Afeez Oyetoro aka SAKA, on Wednesday, led campaign on Lagos State free primary school enrollment for children to market women at Kairo Market, Oshodi.
The sensitisation programme was organised by the Lagos State Basic Education Board (SUBEB).
The presence of the Yoruba movie star captured the attention of the traders and other people around the market.
According to SUBEB, the campaign became necessary to make people were of the free enrollment initiative by the state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The Board revealed that the programme is organised by the government to give all children opportunity to get basic education.
Parents were encouraged to use the opportunity to get their children enrolled in any of the primary schools across the state.
In Oshodi-Isolo LG, there are 56 primary schools in which the children could be enrolled.
The campaign took off at Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Education Authority (LGEA) office and end at Methodist primary school .
While taking photography with the pupils, the movie star appreciated the government and others who made the campaign a success.
He urged the parents to key into the opportunity and make sure no child is denied his right.
