Utility Sports FC blows hot, warns players to buckle up

Utility Sports FC is one of the leading grassroots club in Nigeria that have set their sights on producing world class talents that will be exported outside the country.

The Surulere based club side believe they have what it takes to have a successful year as they are set for a camping exercise at Ijebu Ode.

The President of the club, Mr Abiodun Lawal is optimistic Utility Sports FC is ironing their skills to be the best and are ready to compete with the best.

“Coach Rasheed Salami tutored side will be in a 1month intensive pre season training at the Otunba Dipo Dina stadium Ijebu ode from 17th January 2023 .

“We are preparing for FA cup and many numerous scouting opportunities all around the country.

“The pre-season also will be an avenue to recruit young marketable talented players Into the fray.

“We have put all machineries on for the perceived success of the pre season as we have invited 30 players all over the country for Trials with the team with the aim of marketing top talents among them to clubs abroad.

“In 2022 we recorded few successes where 5 of our players jetted out to different clubs abroad for further development.

“I anticipate a great improvement of the boys and the team in general ,we want to be one of the best team around ,we have all the arsenal to be the best with the support of our agent and partners.

“We ready to compete with the best team in Nigeria and we fear No foes as we have done our home work well.”

Mr Lawal added that, any player that doesn’t live up to expectations will be shown the exit door.

“Any player who doesn’t perform to the level the technical crew are expecting will be axed from the team as we want the best of the best players.”
