No fewer than 27 Arabic students graduated from Ummu Hujjatullah Quranic Centre as it held its 31st and 32nd graduation ceremony on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at LSDPC Estate, Isolo LCDA.

The Co-ordinator, Alhaji Ridwan Suenu, noted that the 31st graduation ceremony would have been held last year but due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Speaking on the significance of Islamic/Arabic education, Suenu explained that one of the best ways parents could help their children grow well and excel in life and thereafter is by exposing them to the words of Allah and planting their feet in His ways.

“The significance of the learning process is to encourage children to read and understand the Holy Quran. If a child reads the Quran it will widen his brain and the fear of Allah will be in his mind. Any child that reads the Quran and is trained in the way of Allah will be exemplary, provided he does not pervert.

“This is 31st and 32nd Walimotul Quran graduation ceremony. It is a combined one because we couldn’t have it last year due to the outbreak of the pandemic.”

He however, advised parents to subject their children to the will of Allah beginning from their tender age and ensure they do not get exposed to negativities and social vices, especially through television.

“My advice to the parents is that they should let their children learn the Quran and ways of Allah. They should channel their minds toward what is good and not the negative things and control what they watch on television.

“I will like to advise President Buhari to listen to the people, and to our state governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu to continue with the way he is doing because we are enjoying him in Lagos State.
