The Tutor-General/ Permanent Secretary of Education District IV, Mr. Olusegun Osinaike has awarded some of the principals who performed well in his district in the last two terms.
He gave the awards as public school pupils resume for the third term across the metropolis.
Presenting the awards, Osinaike said it was based on the performance of the principals in the Second Term’s School Programmes, Events and Activities according to the Rating & Ranking Scoring System.
According to him, the meeting was organised to appreciate God for the District’s achievement during the second term Academic Session and to chart the way forward in the new school term.
He said there is a need for everyone to ensure that a better performance is achieved during the present third Term, especially in the upcoming Examinations (BECE and WAEC), saying, “We look forward to celebrating our Students’ excellent performances in the examinations”.
Mr. Osinaike also charged the School Principals to strive harder in preparing their Students, as the Exams are fast approaching. He enjoined them to put in extra effort through the revision of past questions with the students. This will help them get familiar with questions that they will come across in the exams.
