Transformative Development: Banjo Unveils Agenda at Federal Low-Cost Housing Estate

A wave of jubilation swept through the Federal Low-Cost Housing Estate on Sabo Road as Builder Deola Banjo, the Chairman of Ikorodu North LCDA, launched a significant development project aimed at revitalizing the community.
The enthusiastic gathering, held on the A-lane road at 10 am, saw esteemed members of the estate eagerly anticipating the transformative initiative led by Chairman Banjo.
The comprehensive plan includes road construction, drainage enhancement, and the installation of street lights.
Addressing the jubilant audience, Builder Deola Banjo outlined the phased approach to the intervention works. Immediate attention is slated for the A-lane, AM lane, estate entrance, and the critical link road connecting Prince Abiodun Ogunleye road to Sagamu road, Ikorodu.
Additionally, plans were unveiled to install street lights and improve drainage systems to enhance safety within the estate.
Residents, led by CDA Chairman Engineer Ayodeji Aka, expressed overwhelming gratitude to Chairman Banjo for responding to their longstanding plea for road repairs. Elder Oduniyi, a resident for over forty years, emotionally conveyed his joy, lamenting the absence of those who had tirelessly advocated for this change but had passed away. The octogenarian thanked the heavens for witnessing this pivotal day.
Other residents, including Engr Aiyeleso, Alhaja Obalereko, Mrs Oyebo, Alhaji Adenekan, and more, took turns expressing their appreciation for Chairman Banjo’s transformative efforts. The event was marked by singing, dancing, and heartfelt prayers for continued success.
Distinguished officials from Ikorodu North LCDA, present to witness the historic occasion, included Vice Chairman Honourable Ameen Olawale Apanishile, Leader of the House Hon. Ayo Adekoya, Secretary to the Local Government Honourable Niyi Odugbesi, host Councillor Honourable Niran Adeyemi Wake Up, and several other esteemed members of the Executive arm.
Residents believe that the outpouring of gratitude and joy demonstrated the positive impact anticipated from Builder Deola Banjo’s commitment to infrastructural development in the Federal Low-Cost Housing Estate, Ikorodu.
