The traditional leaders in Ojokoro Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Oba Riliwan Oluwalanbe Taiwo, Oba of Orile Alagbado, High Chief Taiwo and the Baales in Ojokoro have declared their support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates in the council area.
They made the declaration when the House of Representatives and Lagos House of Assembly candidates under the party in Ìdájọ constituency II, Hon. Benjamin Olabinjo and Hon. Emmanuel Olotu visited the monarchs.
The traditional leaders gathered at Baale Akinde’s Palace to deliberate on the coming general elections.
The candidates sought the blessing and support of the monarchs.
They promised that they will both deliver dividends of democracy when they emerge winners at their respective levels.
They urged the traditional rulers to campaign and vote massively for the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Lagos West Senatorial candidate, Dr. Idiat Oluranti Adebule and Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.
“It is important to sow the seed of leadership for the nation. We both have what it takes to take Ifako-Ijaiye to greater height.”
Responding, the paramount ruler of Ifako Ijaiye, HRM Oba Taiwo assured the duo of his total and unflinching supports during the elections.
He said he would continue to show his total loyalty to the APC.
He prayed for the duo and assured them that victory is sure for all APC candidates.
High Chief Taiwo also assured them that Orile Alagbado will vote massively for APC in the forthcoming elections.
The Baales in Ojokoro LCDA also assured that the duo will be supported wholeheartedly, stating that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Dr. Idiat Oluranti Adebule and Gov. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu remain their candidates at the polls.
