Traditional Ruler Inducts Seriki Fulani In Badagry

The traditional ruler in Badagry, Oba Sejiro James, has installed Alhaji Mohammed Umar as the Seriki Fulani in the community.
The Mornach, acknowledged as Aholu of Kweme Kingdom, approved the new inductee, stating that the installation was bestowed to the latter deservedly.
The royal figure urged the inductee to join in the course of harmony between the Yoruba and Fulani people and also contribute towards the developments of the area.
Oba James urged the the Seriki Fulani to involve worthy representatives in his cabinet.
The Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Arewa Communities in Lagos, Alhaji Saidu Yusuf, admonished that stakeholders in the community to ensure that the welfare of the residents in the community is held paramount.
Yusuf also urged on resolving conflicts in the area to achieve the goals of unity and growth.
At the ceremony which was graced by the Fulani socio-cultural organizations in the South-West and neighboring Republic of Benin, the new Seriki Fulani was presented with traditional staff and beads.
