The Registrar of the Lagos State Traditional Medicine Board, LSTMB, Mr. Babatunde Adele has expressed satisfaction with the species of medicinal plants in Epe.
Adele who paid an assessment visit to the Agency’s divisional office in Ikorodu and its Medicinal Plant Garden in the Epearea of the State, said that the his agency would build on what is on ground to enhance reserach.
He said the visit was necessary to first familiarize himself with the operations of the Agency while also identifying areas for improvement.
During his visit to the Ikorodu divisional office of LSTMB, the Registrar met with key personnel, toured the facilities and gained valuable insights into the day-to-day operations of the divisional office. He engaged in discussions with team members and listened to their concerns and suggestions for enhanced efficiency and productivity.
Apart from the visit to the divisional office, Mr Adele, also visited the Agency’s Botanical Garden in Epe, which gave him a unique perspective on the commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship, expressing satisfaction with the variety of plant species within the garden.
The Registrar expressed enthusiasm for the potential improvements that can be made within the Agency and also emphasized his commitment to fostering a culture of innovation.
The visit, according to him, will catalyze future initiatives aimed at streamlining processes, optimizing resources and enhancing the overall operational effectiveness of LSTMB
