Tinubu Urges Lagos Lawmakers To Embrace Peace

President Bola Tinubu has directed members of the Lagos House of Assembly to end the leadership tuscle at the legislative House and embrace peace.
Tinubu, while hosting the reinstated Speaker, Mudashiru Obasa, and Deputy Speaker, Mojisola Meranda and other 38 parliamentarians in the state intervened in the unrest in the state Chamber in a closed door meeting which lasted over two hours.
At the closure of the dialogue, Obasa jettisoned questions for journalists. The lawmaker exited the arena a member of the House of Representatives, James Faleke, who said that the meeting went well.
Reports have it that Obasa, whose suit against his fellow legislators over his impeachment was adjouned till March 18, was told to drop all charges against the lawmakers.
Sources close to the matter told newsmen that some of the lawmakers may have apologized to the House Speaker for his ouster from his position.
The lawmaker’s in unison praised the President over his peacemaking efforts. The excitedly chanted “On your mandate, we shall stand”, affirming their loyalty to Tinubu’s leadership.
