Folashade Tinubu-Obi has been appointed as Ambassador, National Commision for the Almajiri and Out of School Children.
Tinubu-Ojo’s appointment was announced by the Commision’s Executive Secretary, Muhammad Idris.
The appointee, daughter to the President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, got the nod for her efforts in supporting disadvantaged communities as well as facilitating welfare of the Almajiri children, as said by Spokesperson to the Commission, Nura Muhammad.
Muhammad, on Sunday, praised Tinubu-Ojo’s efforts in promoting trade and commerce alongside advocating for resources and opportunities for market women.
Acknowledging her new position, the designee said:“I am deeply honoured by this appointment and am committed to alleviating the plight of these vulnerable Nigerians.”
