Secretary to the Ikeja Local Government, Akeem Dauda, has commended President Bola Tinubu for listening to the yearnings of the Nigerian populace as conveyed during the ongoing nationwide protest.
Dauda spoke on the speech made by Tinubu on Sunday stating that the President has proven that he is a man that holds the masses at heart and will provide succour to the people.
The Secretary disclosed that the President has a vision in making the country better for the masses.
He said that Tinubu has shown to be a courageous leader who has strategized long-term solutions to fix the Issues affecting the country.
Dauda said, “The President has reiterated his visions for the progress of the country. He has put up efforts to increase the country’s reserve, clear backlog and reduce the burden of loans, job and wealth creation through training and skills acquisition.
“He is as well attracting investors through infrastructural developments. He is keen on bringing back power to the people as a dividend for democracy, and entrenching a renewed hope.
“The President is also creating initiatives to alleviate the sufferings and hardships in the country which was the reason behind the nationwide protest. He is indeed a beacon of hope.”
He told the masses, “I urge Nigerians to support the activities of Mr. President and desist from being an instrument for disruption by people who thrive from a failed system.
“We need to uphold the importance of unity and working together to achieve a prosperous and stable Nigeria.”
