President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu have arrived in Nigeria.
The couple arrived Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja this afternoon and were welcomed by the vice president-elect Senator Kashim Shettima and other chieftains of the All Progressives Congress.
Tinubu left Nigeria for France shortly after his victory at the 2023 presidential election in which he polled over eight million votes.
He also spent part of his holiday for lesser Hajj where he partook in the Ramadan fast and prayers Saudi Arabia.
On Sunday, one of Tinubu’s closest allies and a member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Abiodun Faleke had hinted on the arrival of the president-elect.
With Tinubu’s arrival, the preparation for his swearing-in ceremony on May 29 is expected to gather more momentum.
Tinubu who dressed in blue agbada outfit was seeing waving to the crowd who welcomed him at the airport. The visibly elated president-elect, no doubt, is in great spirit.
