Nasarawa Amazons star, Rukayat Shobowale has expressed her excitement for winning the 2025 President Federation Cup Most Valuable Player (MVP).

The midfield maestro showed her predatory instincts in front of goal as she scored two stunning goals against Rivers Angels in the Federation Cup final.

Shobowale said, she’s speechless while acknowledging she was overwhelmed for winning the MVP of the 2025 Federation Cup.

The Nigeria international stated winning the individual award was as a result of hard work, following every tactical instructions from her coaches and contributions from her teammates.

“I’m speechless, truly. You dream of moments like this your whole life, but to living the dream and to be recognized as the MVP of the 2025 Federation Cup, it’s overwhelming.

“This award, it’s a testament to the hard work. Not just today, but every single day in training, every extra session, every tactical discussion.”

Shobowale added she’s more focused on her primary responsibility either defending, scoring, creating assists or scoring and the MVP honor is an accomplished great personal honor.

She however appreciated her teammates, coaches and fans for pushing her beyond her limits to achieve the career milestone.

“I focused on doing my job for the team, whether it was defending, creating, or scoring. The MVP is a great personal honor.

“Honestly, this isn’t just for me. This is for every single person who believed in us, every teammate who sweated and sacrificed, every coach who pushed us beyond our limits, and every fan who roared us on when we thought we had nothing left. We did this together.”
