Mushin Council Boss Set To Repair More Roads
Kehinde Adeleye The Chairman of Mushin Local Government, Emmanuel Bamigboye has given directives for the completion of some roads and the restoration of other streets in the community in an effort to ensure that roads in Mushin Local Government are motorable. The project, which started with the contract award for the construction of Balogun Street off Ladipo Road in the Atewolara (Ward A) area, has seen ongoing street work that is expected to be finished in 12 weeks. Speaking with the project’s site manager, Engineer Bankole, the 171-meter road will include drainage on both sides, sidewalks, and an interlocking surface from the start of the street at the Ladipo Road Junction to the conclusion of the road at Omodigbo/Taiwo Streets. Furthermore, the chairman has given the go-ahead for the development of Igbojuwo Street off Odo Eran Road in the Itire neighborhood of Mushin. The Supervisor for Works and Infrastructure Funmi Peters, LG Chairman, House Committee on Works and Infrastructure and Councillor for Ward were moving around the sites to monitor the projects, which are being overseen by the Works and Infrastructure Department of Mushin Local Government. The Roads Maintenance Team has been ordered by the Chairman to start rehabilitating some streets today.
