Showtime Flag Football Week Six Produces Mammoth Viewership, Electric Encounters

The Showtime Bowl Series XIII produced another unforgettable weekend of electric performances and mammoth viewership of fans turning out in their numbers and the action drawing over 100,000 online viewers from across Nigeria and beyond.
At both Showtime Arenas, the atmosphere was electric fans of all ten clubs filled the stands, waving colors, cheering passionately, and staying glued to every snap, pass, and touchdown from the first whistle to the final play.
The headline clash of the weekend saw Panthers Sports narrowly edge Warriors Flag Football in a breathtaking 33-29 victory. It was a battle between the top two sides, and though the Warriors pushed to the final seconds, the Panthers held their nerve to stay top of the standings, while the Warriors slipped to third.
The Lagos Athletic Knights stormed into second place after dismantling Lagos Alpha Flag Football 62-9, showcasing their offensive brilliance and defensive power. The Knights are fast emerging as one of the biggest threats to the Panthers’ dominance this season.
Meanwhile, the Lekki Braves delivered their best performance yet, thrashing the Mainland Long Horns 43-13. The win lifted the Braves from bottom to seventh, reigniting their season and delighting their loyal fans who sang non-stop throughout the game. The Long Horns, still struggling to find rhythm, dropped to tenth.
The Lagos Raptors were ruthless in their 54-0 demolition of Greenbacks Flag Football, a result that catapulted them to fifth place. The Greenbacks, despite flashes of effort, were left to regroup after another tough loss.
Elsewhere, the Lagos Rebels continued their strong campaign with a convincing 42-19 win over Ikan Sports. The Rebels’ consistency kept them steady in fourth, while Ikan dropped to sixth, suffering back-to-back setbacks after a promising start to the season.
From thrilling touchdowns to roaring crowds, Week 6 had it all intensity, emotion, and unforgettable moments.
