The Sheroes Cup was a great tournament as it was used to develop women’s football in Nigeria.

The tournament which saw 7 NWFL Premiership teams and one NWFL Championship club take part in the tournament was a brainstorming one for the clubs coaches, who used the tournament to test their players ability on the pitch of play and to productively engage them to know the players that will be used in the upcoming NWFL Premiership 2022/2023 season.
