Shammeh to commission Araromi, Oshinfodurin Streets today

The Chairman of Isolo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Shamsudeen Olaleye has confirmed that two of the latest infrastructural projects in the council area will be commissioned today Monday, April 19, 2020.

The projects, which are road construction on Idowu Oshinfodunrin and Araromi Streets, in Ilasamaja and Ishaga/Ire-Akari Wards respectively, are parts of the ongoing road projects being executed across wards in the council area.

Others include Karimu and Aregbe Streets in Akinbaiye Ward, Church Street in Ajao Estate and the reconstruction of the Engineering block in the council secretariat.

The council boss assured that all the projects would be completed before his administration winds up in July, this year.

Speaking through his Chief Press Secretary, Muyiwa Asalejo, Shammeh emphasised that the two completed projects would be commissioned “if nothing untoward happens.”

He said he had promised to execute some legacy projects in the council area which he has been keeping as he commissioned some to mark his three years in office, insisting that he would continue to work on infrastructural development in the council area till his last day in office.
