SGH Sports Amazons have emerged champions of the Wafa Community Shield Cup.

The SGH Amazons defeated Wafa League defending champions, CATS Ladies with a lone goal to win the Community Shield Cup.

SGH Sports Amazons quickly asserted their dominance in the game by dominating possession while pegging CATS Ladies to their own half.

Zainab Afolabi gave the Godly Girls the lead with a powerful strike in the 23rd minute.

CATS Ladies tried to come back into the game with their distinctive passes but me a brick wall from SGH Sports Amazons.

The Wafa Community Shield Cup is an encounter between the league winners and Cup winners. CATS Ladies were the winners of the Wafa League while SGH Sports Amazons were the winners of the Wafa Cup.
