SGH Sports Academy Amazons made it count in the final of the Wafa FA Cup as they defeated Aseyori Queens by a lone goal.
Kadijat Alani was the goal scorer of the lone goal in the match as she found the back of the net in the 18th minute.
Aseyori Queens started as the bright side in the game but couldn’t get the ball to the back of the net in the early stages of the game.
It took the 18th minute of the game before SGH Sports Academy Amazons could find the back of the net in the encounter as prolific forward, Kadijat Alani found the back of the net.
Both teams played a very entertaining encounter but only a goal could be recorded in the first 45 minutes of the game.
SGH Sports Academy Amazons had only one mission in the second half and it’s to defend their lead against the rampaging Aseyori Queens.
Both teams were guilty of squandering chances in the game but the match was worthy of a football final as it gave spectators something to cheer about.
SGH Sports Academy Amazons emerged champions of the Wafa FA Cup 2022 edition as Aseyori Queens couldn’t get a equalizer in the game.
