Serve Community Before Nation, Alli-Macaulay Urges Women Politicians

The Chairman of the House Committee on Women Affairs, Poverty Alleviation and Job Creation, Hon. Mojisola Alli-Macaulay has urged women politicians to ensure a good rapport within their family and community before aiming at serving the masses beyond.

She said as a lady known as a society builder, their political strength would be built on their contributions towards the development of the community before people from other local governments accepts their campaign.

She noted that as an aspirant, one has to prove to the people that one is ready for true and dedicated service through actions and not by mere words as their diligence would prove their loyalty while representing the community at the state level.

Alli-Macaulay the member Lagos State House of Assembly, representing Amuwo-Odofin Constituency I said that as a female representative, one has to go extra mile in convincing the people as a preliminary awareness have been created, but the capability of each individuals determines their success and support from all.

She further encouraged all female aspirants to have their specific aim and objectives and work towards achieving it to distinct them from other candidates.
