Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, Chairman of the Ojodu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in Lagos State, recently inspected Phase 2 of the Ogba Road Reconstruction Project, demonstrating his commitment to infrastructure development in the region.
The project, a joint effort between Ojodu LCDA, the Lagos State Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, and the Lagos State Public Works Corporation, aims to upgrade drainage systems and resurface roads from Ogba Junction to Tantalizers.
This includes installing cross culverts to enhance stormwater management and prevent flooding.
Acknowledging the importance of the initiative in reducing congestion and promoting economic activities, Odunmbaku reaffirmed his dedication to improving the local community’s infrastructure.
“This project will ensure a durable road network and improve connectivity around Ojodu LCDA,” Odunmbaku stated.
He urged residents to support the project for smooth execution. The initiative aligns with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s broader infrastructure agenda, ensuring better roads and improved urban resilience. Residents have welcomed the project, anticipating smoother traffic flow and better accessibility.
