A security guard has been nabbed for an alleged sexual assault on his employer’s daughter in Igando area of Lagos.
The accused, Idris Hamisu, 37, is on trial on a count of sexual assault.
When put on trial at the Ikeja Magistrates’ Court, the prosecutor, Inspector Samuel Mishozunnu, said that Hamisu commited the offence on June 12 at No 4, Yetunde Adesola Street, Igando.
Mishozunnu also disclosed that the defendant lured the victim, a 12-year-old girl, in an unlawful erotic act, fondled her breast and body.
The prosecutor said that such act contravenes Section 263 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty.
The Magistrate, Folashade Hughes, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties in like sum.
Hughes adjourned the case till July 18.
